Aiptek claims to have broken multiple records by launching its new GO-HD camcorder. The GO-HD is one of the smallest and most inexpensive camcorders capable of capturing high-definition (HD) video.

The GO-HD can record 720p widescreen video clips at a full 30fps. The use of the latest H.264 (AVCHD) encoding records video efficiently and allows for as much as four hours of full-quality video when using an 8GB SDHC card. The GO-HD measures approximately 4.5″ x 2.75″ x 1.25″ and weighs only about 7.5 ounces.

Other features include a 3x optical zoom lens with auto-focus, one touch recording, a 270° swivel-reversible 2.4″ TFT Color LCD Display, AIPTEK’s Night Shot feature, which enhances image quality in dark or low light settings (up to 4 feet) by utilizing built-in LED lights.

The GO-HD can connect to any HDTV & HD Monitor, Standard TV, or PC (with software provided for PC or QuickTime 7.0 or higher for Mac}. It is equipped with a built-in charger so it can be recharged via USB when attached to a PC or by attaching the AC charger cable (included) and plugging it in to any convenient outlet. There is no need to remove the battery.
