JOBO AG has announced the JOBO photoGPS, a Global Positioning System (GPS) for digital camera users. The device allows GPS data to be written to each digital image's EXIF file (geo-tagging). JOBO’s photoGPS unit comes with a PC and Mac compatible DVD that contains both the software and the database needed to post-process the information captured by the unit. It attaches to the camera’s hot shoe.

The new JOBO photoGPS is expected to be available between June and August 2007 for a price of $149 (US MSRP).
