Nikon Announces T-Mobile Hotspot Access for the new COOLPIX S51c Digital Camera

Nikon CoolPix S51cThe Nikon COOLPIX S51c is an 8.1MP camera with a 3x Zoom-Nikkor Optical VR Image Stabilization lens and an innovative Wi-Fi feature. Nikon has partnered with T-Mobile USA to provide COOLPIX S51c users with T-Mobile's HotSpot® Wi-Fi service for digital cameras, allowing the user to send images and videos to friends and family via the all-new ‘my Picturetown' service from the nearly 8,500 HotSpot® locations nationwide.

The T-Mobile HotSpot service is available in Starbucks coffeehouses, Borders Books & Music stores, FedEx Kinko’s Office and Print Centers, airports, and the airline clubs of American, Delta, United, and US Airways.

Price and Availability

The COOLPIX S51c digital camera will be available nationwide this month for a price of $329.95 (US MSRP).

How the T-Mobile Hotspot Access works

Six months of complimentary T-Mobile HotSpot service begins the first time you connect your COOLPIX S51c digital camera to the T-Mobile network at a T-Mobile HotSpot location within the USA. The T-Mobile HotSpot promotional offer does not include access to T-Mobile HotSpot roaming locations. The offer expires on August 31, 2008.
