Pre-PMA announcements have started already. Samsung has announced the launch of a super slim 7.1MP digicam, equipped with a 7x internal optical zoom lens, metal body, 2.5" TFT LCD, and MPEG-4 VGA for TV-quality video capability. At just 0.8 inches wide, the L77 is dubbed the slimmest 7MP, 7x optical zoom lens camera.

Samsung's ASR (Advanced Shake Reduction) function allows the user take clear pictures at high sensitivity/shutter speed and low sensitivity at the same time without using the flash. ISO 1600 high-sensitivity capability prevents blur resulting from camera shake or movement of the subject.

At 30fps, the L77 can easily capture moving action and is able to record in MPEG-4 VGA for TV-quality film clips. The camera allows you to pause while recording movies, a rare feature in digicams. For added convenience, film clips and photographs can be edited through the L77's in-built editing capabilities.
