Sanyo Xacti DMX-HD1000 with Full 1080i HD Video Recording
The Sanyo Xacti series is known for it’s small size and ergonomic design. The Xacti HD1000’s is one of the smallest on the market that includes a 2.7" LCD screen. It’s new design incorporates a 105 degree angle that research has proven to be less tiring to hold and shoot than typical camcorders.
The Xacti HD1000 camcorder uses the latest high-definition CMOS sensor allowing it to capture full 1920×1080 (1080i) high-definition video at 60 frames-per-second. The CMOS sensor provides the responsiveness needed to capture fast-moving subjects and Sanyo's noise reduction technology helps obtain the cleanest signal from each pixel. The HD1000 records in the latest MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format to deliver exceptional video clarity and detail while maintaining the smallest file size possible.

Still images up to 8MP (3264 x 2448) can be saved to the card, though that image is an interpolated blow-up from its native 4MP resolution (2288 x 1712).
The Xacti HD1000 comes with an image stabilizer that works for both stills and video. It uses a proprietary Sanyo algorithm compensating for distracting up-and-down or side-to-side camera movement during video shooting, keeping your subject steady and easy to follow. It can accurately distinguish between unintentional camera shake and deliberate camera movement.
High-definition and photos are recorded directly to a standard SD or SDHC Memory Card (up to 8GB). When connected to the computer via the USB cable, the HD1000 acts as a standard card reader transferring images and videos to your computer.
